NEWCOMERS WELCOME GATHERING
THIS COMING SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26th
Following our morning worship service this Sunday, October 26th, Pastor Jim and Peggy and the elders and their wives will be hosting a special gathering for all of those who are new, or relatively new, to our congregation. If you have started attending during this calendar year, 2025, then we would like you to join this gathering immediately following the service. We would just like to take a few minutes to get acquainted with you and share a few things about our church with you. This gathering will only last about 20 minutes, and some special snacks will be served,
TRUNK OR TREAT
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31st
Our church is celebrating the beginning of the Harvest Season with our annual "Trunk or Treat" event. This is an opportunity for our church family to rub shoulders with many from the community who will be joining us on October 31st. Remember, no scary costumes are to be worn by members of our church family and trunks should also be appropriately decorated. See Gary Green if you would like to offer your "trunk" for the evening. Collection of candy to be distributed during the event is currently underway.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY WORKSHOP
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 8th (9am - 1pm) IN OUR CHAPEL
Our Children's Ministry Director, Kayla Vernon, will provide training for all of our Children's workers. If you are currently working with children, make plans to attend. See Kayla after the service on Sunday mornings, and if you are not currently involved with our Children's Ministry, please consider jumping in to serve Christ by ministering to the children of our church.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
DEADLINE FOR SHOEBOX COLLECTION IS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16
PICK UP YOUR SHOE BOXES AFTER ANY OF OUR SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICES
As most of you know, this is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse, and shoeboxes received from around the world will be delivered to children in need of Christmas presents. Let's all get involved and fill our worship center with shoeboxes for kids. Shoe boxes can be picked up each Sunday in the Fellowship Hall after our morning worship service.
MISSION TRIP TO MEXICO
NOVEMBER 22-28TH
Pastor Paul will be leading a Mission Trip to Mexico November 22-28. If you are at all interested in joining him and many others, plant to join Paul at the orientation after the worship service on September 14th in the Old Chapel.
CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS MUSICAL
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14th
Many of you remember the special Sunday morning service last year as the children in our church used their gifts and talents to present a very special Christmas Musical. Well, plans are underway to bless us again this year. Thanks to Katie Scoville and her amazing team of helpers, sign-ups are now underway for this special event. See Katie on Wednesday nights during AWANA or on Sunday mornings.
